Meet A Linguist
A free online event for A Level students (of any subject)
Friday 21 January 2022 at 1-1.30 pm or 5-5.30pm (we are offering this session twice)
This is a free online interactive session where you will meet one or two linguists from Northumbria University and take part in some interactive tasks investigating aspects of linguistics.
The session will consider some of the ways in which linguists, including university students, develop and evaluate investigations.
It will consider how investigations begin, how we assess methods to investigate them, and how we assess findings.
There will also be an opportunity to ask us questions about linguistics at university or more broadly.
